Echoes of Teradea gives you five bachelorettes to court, alongside five bachelors. Natsume's title announcement for the game (published 11 March 2026) confirms that split — "five all-new bachelors and five all-new bachelorettes" — but as of 2026-10-16 that announcement does not name any of them. The names most players are working with come from a community video, "All Ten Marriage Candidates in Harvest Moon Echoes of Teradea," which lists the women as Carol, Jane, Lorelai, Mara and Shirley.

What each one is like

Jane is described as the gentle, caring type — someone who bakes for other people and looks after them. Her storyline is framed as a "storybook adventure" tied to her love of books and her ambition to see the Maple Hill Town university library.

Mara has a clear goal: to be the best sailor not just in Tidewind Village but in the whole world. She's stubborn in a good way and doesn't let setbacks keep her down, and the video notes she's hard to pin down around the village because she moves so fast.

Shirley is the rebel of Maple Hill Town's music scene. Her band wants to break from tradition, and her look — dyed hair, fishnets — is deliberately alternative. You'll apparently run into her playing harmonica under a bridge.

Lorelai runs the Quarry Top Mining Union and comes across as blunt and businesslike, with a secret about her connection to the mine that surfaces as you get closer to her. The video's host personally disliked her and ranked her last of the ten candidates, partly because of how she treats Hank.

Carol is the childhood-friend route. Growing up together in Bloomfield Village is the whole premise of her romance, so if you like the friends-to-lovers setup she's the obvious pick — though the video host found her design and personality on the plain side.

If you picked the female farmer, the counterpart to Carol is Robert, one of the five bachelors (the others being Aaron, Bryce, Hank and Sergey). See the bachelors page for their rundown.

How reliable is this list?

Everything above comes from one player's video walkthrough of the ten candidates, not from Natsume. The count of five bachelorettes is official; the names, towns and personalities are reported by a player who had already spent time with the game, and their character assessments — who's "basic," who's "mean," who's their favourite — are personal opinions rather than game facts. Treat the names as the community's current working set rather than a finalised roster, and expect the odd spelling to shift between sources: the video's own transcript alternates between "Lorelei" and "Lorelai," and renders the game's name a few different ways too.

One detail worth knowing regardless of which candidate you pick: the video host found gift-giving and daily chats awkward for a bachelor who spends his time inside a paid fishing area, which is a reminder that candidate schedules can matter as much as personalities. No similar location snag was mentioned for any of the five bachelorettes.

What this page doesn't cover

Gift preferences, heart events, confession requirements and marriage timing aren't detailed here, because the community material available so far focuses on who the candidates are rather than the mechanics of courting them. The Natsume title announcement does not break down individual romance mechanics as of 2026-10-16, so anything you read about specific gifts or event triggers elsewhere should be checked against a current player guide before you rely on it.
